House Calls: Should You Have A First Date At Home?
Published by sueZette Yasmin Robotham on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 1:25 pm.The landscape of dating is forever changing, and this is made crystal clear when people are staging first dates in their homes. Two grown people—that are employed—that stage the first date at a house, are not out to seriously date.
Granted the cold weather has been intense and your cuddle-boo inquiries have gone out in earnest, but Ladies, when was the last time you actually invited a stranger over to your house to “cuddle” without at a formal first date—if not more? Understand, if you allow your first date with someone to be at your (or their) house; you will be doing more forking than spooning.
Sure you might try to convince yourself that he’s going to be a “perfect gentleman” and the the “date” will an easy night of Moscato and a movie, but as soon as he ”accidentally” touches your knee and you smile and don’t move; it’s a fast track to the bedroom.
If you manage to get a meal outside of the house afterwards, girl lock that man down because he could be marriage material. But, chances of that happening are slim.
Moral of the story: NO FIRST DATES AT HOME!
