Published by Renae Bluitt on Monday, March 21, 2011 at 1:17 pm.Celebrities, consumers and beauty industry elite converged on the city of Atlanta for the national launch of African Pride’s “My Pride, My Way” campaign last week.
Held at the King Plow Arts Center, the event was hosted by model and Essence Magazine editor Toccara Jones; and actor Lance Gross. The festivities featured hair demonstrations, consultations and makeovers by style experts, and very special performances by spoken word artist Mshairi Uwezo and So So Def recording artist Dondria.
Also spotted in the crowd were actress Keshia Knight Pulliam of “The Cosby Show” fame and celebrity hairstylist Derek J.
