(Beverly Hills, CA) Acclaimed actress Viola Davis was just one of honorees recognized at the Women In Film Crystal + Lucy Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on June 12, 2012.

Davis, who most recently garnered a sweep of nominations for her role in the critically acclaimed movie, The Help, was presented by Meryl Streep—who bested her for this year’s Academy Award for Best Actress, with her role as Margaret Thatcher in ‘The Iron Lady.’

Other honorees, included Chloe Grace Moretz, Christina Applegate, NBC Universal’s Bonnie Hammer, and HBO’s “Big Love” director of photography, Anette Haellmigk.

The ceremony’s guest list was a who’s who of Hollywood including, Tracee Ellis-Ross, Holly Robinson-Peete, L. Scott Caldwell, and the legendary Diahann Carroll.

First presented in 1977, Women in Film Crystal + Lucy Awards are presented to honor women in communications and media.
