EVENT: Madame Tussauds Hollywood Honors Tupac Shakur With Wax Figure
Published by Justin D Joseph on Monday, June 18, 2012 at 11:17 am.(Hollywood, CA) In celebration of what would have been his 41st birthday, Madame Tussauds unveiled a wax figure of the late rap star, Tupac Shakur at a launch party held on June 16, 2012.
The event was attended by famed 90s rap group, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony and, talent manager, Steve Lobel.
Shakur, known for his hard hitting rhymes and “Thug Life” persona, died in 1996, from gunshot wounds received during a drive by shooting in Las Vegas. He was 25 years old at the time of his death.
