Rodney King, the victim of police brutality who became the face of the 1991 Los Angeles riots, has been found dead. He was 47.

According to reports from law enforcement officials on TMZ, King was found dead at the bottom of a swimming pool in Rialto, California on Sunday morning. He was discovered by his fiancée Cynthia Kelley, who promptly called 911. [MORE]

3. High Blood Pressure May Indicate Hidden Heart Disease
One would think that if you were suffering from heart disease, you would know it. But a new study shows that may not be the case.

Researchers at Wayne State University in Detroit have found that many Black patients with high blood pressure also were suffering from hidden heart disease caused by their high blood pressure. Apparently, the heart disease didn’t show any physical symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness and heart attack. [MORE]
