I’ve personally never experienced anything more than instant attraction or infatuation at first sight, so the concept of feeling “love” in my opinion is a novel idea and rather naive.
I’m all for going with your gut and trusting your instincts, however, I also think love is a seed that is planted and grows over time. Is it really possible to go from barren earth to a fruited plane when it comes to love in 60 seconds or less?
A gentleman friend once informed me, that he knows a good thing when he sees it. But, knowing a good thing and loving a good thing are not the same thing, right? Full disclosure: I very rarely take anything at face-value. But in a world full of calamity, even I would like to believe that I am not above the mushiness that is love at first sight.
So what say you? Is love at first sight possible?
