(Atlanta, GA) Rapper and actor, Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges and singer Keri Hilson lent their celebrity and time at the kick off event for DoSomething.org and BING’s ‘Summer of Doing’ initiative at Osborne High School on June 20, 2012.

The two performers, alongside a group of student volunteers, helped renovate the local high school, by painting murals on the school’s facade.

“It’s really just to encourage the youth like herself and myself,” she said in reference to the student. “It’s a program that encourages people to do something. During the summer time is the best time to do something in your community,” Hilson explained during an interview with CNN.

The “Summer of Doing” campaign urges youth to work in their community through service and good deeds.
