EVENT: Rodney & Holly Robinson-Peete Host 14th Annual DesignCare Event

The event thrown by the couple, benefits the HollyRod Foundation that provides “medical, physical, and emotional support” to individuals living with Parkinson’s Disease as well as families of children with autism.
Guests at the event included, singers, Paula Abdul and Melanie Brown; actresses, Tracee Ellis Ross, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Elise Neal, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Yvette Nicole Brown; actors, Michael Ealy, and Dondre Whitfield; comedians, Arsenio Hall, and Mark Curry.
The HollyRod Foundation was established in 1997 in honor of Holly’s father, television producer Matt Robinson who lost his battle with Parkinson’s Disease in 2002. The foundation’s mission was expanded in 2000, after the Peetes’ oldest son, Rodney ‘RJ’ Peete Jr., was diagnosed with autism.
