EVENT: Magic Johnson Hosts Taylor Michaels Scholarship Brunch; Awards 33 College Scholarships

Sponsored by Fed-Ex, the event capped off the Magic Johnson Foundation’s annual five day Taylor Michaels Scholarship Program Conference, which offers new and past scholars leadership training and career development workshops.
Founded in 1998, the Taylor Michaels Scholarship Program—named after the late Taylor Michaels, the former Chief Operating Officer for Magic Johnson Enterprises—assists socioeconomically challenged students with the completion of their undergraduate degrees and offers support in the form of laptops, mentorships, and internships.
