Mark Twain’s 1881 book The Prince and the Pauper gets a colorful update in the new animated movie, Kasha and the Zulu King. The movie, now set in South Africa, tells the story of a young boy who is sold into slavery at birth, and returns to his native land for a life-changing adventure.

The film, written and directed by Jai Husband, features the voices of stars Kenny Leon, Jasmine Guy, Monica Pearson, Bobby V, TJ Holmes, Frank Ski, Joe Taylor, Shirley Franklin, Ovie Mughelli, Joy Brunson and Tony Harris.

Kasha and the Zulu King premieres on Centric, September 15 at 10A/9C.
