Rihanna is the Queen of Carnaval—the West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval that is. The reigning pop-princess posed for pictures alongside her mother, Monica Braithwaite, after taking home the honor at the annual ghoulish bash.

RiRi posed for pictures with the city’s officials including West Hollywood Councilmembers John D’Amico, John J. Duran, and John Heilman;  Mayor Pro Tempore, Abbe Land, and Mayor Jeffrey Prang.

This year’s festivities attracted over 400,000 attendees, and is considered one of the world’s largest late-October festivals.

Rihanna, who’s latest single “Diamonds” reached number one on the Billboard R&B chart, is set to release her seventh album, Unapologetic on November 20.
