Last Thursday,  NV Magazine held their annual gala honoring the best and brightest in business. Hosted by fashion mogul Daymond John (FUBU) and BET Alum Jacque Reid [both pictured above] the evening proved to be an inspirational event celebrating the entrepreneurial spirit. Listening to each of the ten awardees share their journey, one could not help but be intoxicated by the will of the human spirit.

The awards ceremony didn’t feel like just another black tie event, but more so a call to action for folks to take a leap of faith and follow their dreams. It is truly incredible the impact that ideas, hard work and a little faith can have on our society. Kudos to NV Magazine for celebrating these captains of industry.
