News of Tyra Banks’ partnership with famed modeling agency IMG, sparked speculation that the former model was setting up shop for a runway comeback. Recently released polaroids of a svelte Banks only seemed to make those industry whispers louder. But, so isn’t the case. The now former talk show host posted on her site: “To set the record straight, I’m not coming out of modeling retirement… IMG is such a huge company, there are many things I will be doing with them.  Some fashion-related, but don’t expect to see me at any go-sees!”

Banks is now thinking of taking on the role of spokeswoman. “The last time I was with IMG, I was set on taking on the modeling world in the high fashion and commercial sectors. Now I’m dreaming even bigger, but this time for my company as well. Aligning myself with brands that I believe in, and helping them achieve the kind of success they’re looking for, helps all of us as we grow our businesses.”
