(New York,NY) The bullseye marked the spot in Harlem as Target opened its first outpost in New York City. Celebrities such as Russell Simmons, Kelly Rowland, Tyson Beckford, Bevy Smith, Jerry Seinfield, Adrienne Bailon and Bethann Hardison ventured out to Harlem fot this week’s grand opening. Celebrated Chef and Restaurateur Marcus Samuelsson provided a cooking demo in support of his new kitchen accessories line, preview shoppers had first dibs on fashion picks from designer Stephen Burrows and popular turntable master, Bobbito provided the beats.

The new location includes an expansive produce and grocery section called “P Fresh” and includes a variety of multicultural items that are indicative of the neighborhood and “uptown” culture.
