DAILY FITNESS TIP: Skipping Breakfast Leads To Overeating and A Bigger Waistline
Published by Rob Brace on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 9:00 am.“I don’t have time to focus on losing weight, my work schedule is too hectic.” Does this sound familiar? If yes, its probably one of the excuses—yes excuses—that you have used to avoid moving in the right direction. The road to a healthier lifestyle begins with the decision to change. That decision can be one or more things: to change eating habits, to work out, and/or to be aware of the body and its wellness. This week we will focus on daily tips you can incorporate this week and beyond to jump start the journey to your fitness goals:
TIP #1:
Don’t ever skip breakfast. A good breakfast gives you the energy you need to start the day, prevents you from overeating later in the day and has been consistently shown to help you be successful at maintaining a healthy weight. Now just remember to make it a healthy one. Choose foods high in protein and fiber such as oatmeal, egg whites and multigrain bread. These foods will give you long lasting energy while making you feel full.
