DAILY FITNESS TIP: Skipping Meals Does Not Lead To Weight Loss

If yes, its probably one of the excuses—yes excuses—that you have used to avoid moving in the right direction. The road to a healthier lifestyle begins with the decision to change. That decision can be one or more things: to change eating habits, to work out, and/or to be aware of the body and its wellness. This week we will focus on daily tips you can incorporate this week and beyond to jump start the journey to your fitness goals:
Tip #3:
Are you eating enough? Each time you eat, you boost your metabolism. Skipping meals and going without vital nutrients can slow down your metabolism making you feel lethargic. Your body also can go into starvation mode, making it hold on to energy in the form of body fat. This is not an excuse to overeat, keep control of portion sizes and continue to make healthy choices.
