The anticipation over Jill Scott’s new album is reaching a fever pitch—thanks in large part to her latest single “So In Love” featuring Anthony Hamilton. Now the singer is turning things up a notch with the “Jill Scott Summer Block Party” tour, which will kick off July 28 at New York’s Jones Beach Theater.

Sponsored by Budweiser Superfest, the tour will feature Hamilton and R&B collective Mint Condition as the opening acts. DJ Jazzy Jeff has signed on to provide beats and the legendary Doug E. Fresh will serve as the tour’s official host.
