The soundtrack, available February 14, is a collection of civil rights era freedom songs and negro spirituals sang by a slew of contemporary artists including, Anthony Hamilton, John Legend, Angie Stone, Wyclef Jean, The Roots, Blind Boys of Alabama, Joss Stone and Mary Mary.
Written and directed by Bill Guttentag and Dan Sturman, Soundtrack for a Revolution traces the story of the civil rights movement and the struggles fought by young African-American activists with an emphasis on the power of music.
