Popular underground singer Algebra, has released “I Ain’t No Joke,” a sassy easy tune sang over a sample of the 1987 Eric B. & Rakim hip-hop hit of the same name. The first single off her upcoming mixtape, Dessert Before Dinner, the song is the follow up to her 2008 release, Purpose.

In the years since her debut release, the Atlanta native has worked with the likes of Anthony Hamilton, Bilal, India Arie, and was most notably featured on Anthony David’s 2011 R&B hit “4Evermore,” and most recently on Esperanza Spalding’s “Black Gold.”
