1. Jay-Z Announces Lineup for Made in America Festival
After keeping audiences in suspense over the weekend, Jay-Z has officially announced the first wave of artists to perform at his first ever Made in America festival sponsored by Budweiser. Headliners for the fest include Pearl Jam, Skrillex, D’Angelo, Rick Ross and more. Full announced lineup below:

2. Kanye West, Beyoncé, Jay-Z Lead BET Awards 2012 Nominees
It’s that time of year again! The official nominations for the BET Awards 2012 are in and it appears that the Roc Family has taken the lion’s share of the nods overall. Kanye West leads the pack with seven nominations, Beyoncé follows with six and Jay-Z with five.
The announcements were made at a press conference hosted by Stephen Hill, President of Music Programming and Specials, BET Networks. In attendance to help with the announcement were A$AP Rocky, DJ Khaled, Melanie Fiona, Astro, Diggy and Mindless Behavior. [MORE]
3. Nas Opens Up About Kelis and Marriage
Despite all the financial woes, public criticism from his exes and other controversy, life is good for Queens rapper Nas, or so he tells Complex magazine in their latest cover story. In the June/July issue of the pop culture mag, Nasty Nas shares his feelings on ex-wife Kelis, how and why their marriage ended and where they are going from here.
“There was a point where we were trying to hold onto a relationship that was finished,” Nas said on the end of his marriage. “She was pregnant and in the studio while we were recording Distant Relatives, and he would move when the music would come on. That was a great feeling for me, just to have that feeling of family. It ended around the time the record was being done.” [MORE]
