Two Grammy Award nominations, a critically acclaimed album, two hit single—2011 proved to be a successful year for Mint Condition. Now, the musical collective is repeat that success in 2012 with the release of a new album, MUSIC @ THE SPEED OF LIFE.

The album, which will be Mint’s eighth studio release, is said to recall the spirit of their hits—1991’s ”Breakin’ My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes),” and 1997’s “What Kind Of Man Would I Be”—while ushering in a musically forward sound.

“We definitely think we’re headed in the right direction,” agrees the group. “It’s kind of strange to say that after two decades but we feel it’s our time now, we’ve paid a lot of dues, been schooled in the business, honed our craft, in other words, we’ve gone to the “puppet show” and seen the strings!”

Mint Condition celebrated their 20th anniversary last year with their album, 7…, which featured the Grammy Award nominated top ten hit “Not My Daddy” with Kelly Price, and two top 20 singles, Caught My Eye” and “Walk On.”

MUSIC @ THE SPEED OF LIFE will be released September 25.
