RETRO CENTRIC: Stephanie Mills “I Feel Good All Over”

Twenty-five years ago this week, Stephanie Mills landed her second Billboard R&B number one hit with “I Feel Good All Over,” the first single off her platinum selling eleventh album, If I Were Your Woman.
The song, written by husband and wife writing duo, Gabriel Hardeman and Annette Hardeman; was said to have been presented to Patti Labelle, who passed on the song because it wasn’t “a Patti song.”
