In celebration of our nation’s independence, Centric will premiere Bebe Winans‘ America, America, a one hour music special that will feature the award winning singer performing classic patriotic tunes including “America The Beautiful,” “Lift Every Voice,” “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” and, “The Star Spangled Banner”—all of which will be featured on his upcoming seventh studio album.

“The inspiration for America America is the time we are living in,”  says Winans.  “Sometimes, we forget that we are all Americans.  At sporting events, when the national anthem is sung, everyone stands—black, white, rich, poor—everyone.”

The program will feature special guest appearances from the legendary Gladys Knight, and the acclaimed actress, Cicely Tyson.

Bebe Winans‘ America, America airs July 4 at 8P/7C.
