Nas knows the good life. That was made clear as the rapper hosted a private dinner as a part of the Moët Rose Lounge event series. Held in celebration of the release of his new album, Life is Good, the 50-person sit-down was held at the newly opened Bagatelle in New York City’s popular Meatpacking District.
Guests included supermodel, Tyson Beckford; radio personalities, Angie Martinez and Miss Info; fashion designer, Vashtie; singers, Beyonce, Anthony Hamilton, Adrienne Bailon, and Teyana Taylor; producers, No I.D., Jermaine Dupri and Swizz Beatz; BET’s Stephen Hill; rappers, Jay-Z, and Q-Tip—who served as the event’s official DJ.
Life is Good, marks Nas’ tenth studio album, and features guest appearances by Mary J. Blige, Rick Ross, Miguel, and the late Amy Winehouse. The album is in stores July 17.
