While Whitney Houston’s career catapulted after The Bodyguard, her early career had its fair share of history making moments. One of those being her 1988 recording, “One Moment In Time.” Produced by the acclaimed Narada Michael Walden, the song served as the torch song for the 1988 Summer Olympic games in Seoul, South Korea.
Featured on 1988 Summer Olympics Album: One Moment in Time, the song became a worldwide success, becoming a top ten hit in 14 countries—UK, Germany, Ireland, and the United States among them.
The song has gone down in history as one of Houston’s shining moments.
