Martha Wash and Kimberley Locke took the stage at the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD)’s annual Manhattan Summer Event at Humphrey at the Eventi Hotel.

The legendary vocalist, and the former American Idol finalist both brought the house down at the casino-themed event, which served as a fundraiser for the organization.

All funds raised at GLAAD Manhattan go to GLAAD’s work to amplify the voices of the LGBT community by empowering real people to share their stories, holding the media accountable for the words and images they present, and training grassroots organizations to communicate effectively.
