Faith Evans is back! The Grammy Award winning singer has released “Tears of Joy,” the first single off her upcoming album, R&B Divas. The album will feature fellow R&B singers, Monifah, Nicci Gilbert, and Keke Wyatt.

Proceeds from the album will benefit the Whitney Houston Academy of Creative and Performing Arts in East Orange, New Jersey. “I’m also proud to honor my dear friend and music Icon, Ms. Whitney Houston and give back to the community in doing my part to help save performing arts in schools.

The album marks the follow-up to Evans’ 2010 critically acclaimed fifth album, Something About Faith, and her first single since “Gone Already,” the album’s lone single released the same year.

“I’m extremely excited about executive producing this album and working beside some of the premiere female R&B vocalists of our generation,” said Evans. “Making this album has been an incredible experience, and every true fan of R&B music will be touched by these beautiful songs of love, hope and triumph!”

R&B Divas will be available on October 2.
