Shaliek Rivers is suffering from a broken heart. But like most R&B crooners, the dapper young feller didn’t dwell long. Instead he channeled his frustration into the introspective “Miserable.”

Posing the question we all usually ask ourselves when our significant other does us dirty, the Bronx native chants over and over again: “Why you gotta make me so miserable. You’re breaking, breaking my heart. Why you gotta make everything hard?” Named by Essence Magazine as one of their “Top 25 Artists to Watch for 2012″ and by Billboard magazine  as one of their “Singer/Songwriters to Watch for 2012,″ Rivers released the mixtape “I Don’t Want to Be Famous” earlier this year.

Rivers is currently working on his debut album via Universal Records tentatively entitled “Vintage XII.”
