What’s Good in music? The addition of the Soul Train Award for Best Independent R&B/Soul Artist or Group. This year’s nominees represent some of the strongest R&B and soul acts who have a strong digital sales, radio spins in the urban adult or urban mainstream format and a substantial indie following.

The winner of this category will be decided by an online vote to launch in the coming month.
Hosted by Cedric The Entertainer, the 2012 Soul Train Awards will premiere in simulcast on Centric and BET on November 25th at 9P/8C.
