Beyonce To Perform At Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show In New Orleans!Published by Danica Daniel on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 12:08 pm.
Ladies, need another reason to watch this year’s Superbowl, besides some buff fellas running around in spandex?
Look no further. Beyonce is slated to perform at Super Bowl XLVII halftime show at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on February 3, 2013.
Beyoncé joins an esteemed list of recent halftime acts that includes Michael Jackson, The Black Eyed Peas, Janet Jackson, Diddy, Nelly, Prince, the Rolling Stones, Usher and U2. The 16-time Grammy Award-winning singer grabs the musical baton from headliner Madonna and her special guests Nicki Minaj, M.I.A, CeeLo Green and LMFAO, who performed during last year’s spectacle.
This won’t be the first time the 31-year-old made her presence felt at a Superbowl. Beyonce sang the national anthem in 2004 when the New England Patriots defeated the Carolina Panthers. The occasion was especially memorable for the King B since it took place in her hometown of Houston, Texas.
