The mentor and judge on the hit NBC singing competition may be on the prowl for new vocal talent on The Voice but when the Grammy Award-winning artist heard funky new talent “V” Bozeman, he instantly knew he need the songstress on his team.
Green signed V to his label, Cee-Lo Green’s Eight Entertainment, earlier this year and the two performed together at the 2011 Essence Music Festival and the Jazz & Heritage Festival in New Orleans. Now V is setting out on her own in the new single “Poison.” The dangerous new track is set to appear on the singer/songwriter’s debut EP, The Visitor Collection.
“A Visitor is someone that changes the “normal” order of things,” V said of her forthcoming debut. “You will feel their presence whenever they enter the atmosphere. A Visitor moves on their own vibration and frequency. A Visitor is forever evolving, always moving constantly to experience and attain supernatural highs that only God and the Universe can give. The Visitor is not a person place or thing. It’s an action, an Idea, a powerful moving force. The Visitor=V.”
