Valentine Love

Raheem DeVaughn is delivering something for the people just in time for Valentine’s. The DC-native will always have a place in my collection for his Urban Ave. 31 days (“Heaven Help Us Remix” is the biz; you betta ask somebody!) and a little single called “My People” that made the DJ Jazzy Jeff’s “The Magnificent” a “must have” event. Of course, DeVaughn’s been busy producing plenty of timeless music since those underground days, with two major label projects and six free mixtapes and albums (cop the brill 2009 Art of Noise project) in the last five years. He’s got a new project, “Love and War: The Masterpeace” coming out March 2nd. Until then we thought we’d share a little of DeVaughn’s “Mr. February X March Madness” project along with “The Street Experience Vol. I and II.”
